Friday marks a new event for the East Peoria Festival of Lights, the Festival of Lights Craft Show. Start your holiday shopping with the craft vendors at the

On Saturday, the Festival of Lights annual Parade of Lights will take place on three miles off of Washington Street starting on one side of the city and ending just past downtown. The parade features 40 floats shaped entirely from lights, including the chopper motorcycle float illuminated with LED lights, a 70-foot long float of the famous Clydesdale horse team pulling a delivery wagon, the starship
Enterprise illuminated with 48,000 LED light bulbs, and the 95-foot-long smoke-spewing

The East Peoria Festival of Lights Historic
Holiday Traditions takes place Sunday. Take a step back in time at the 128-year-old Doering Homeplace during open houses on November 30 or December 7 only. Decorations include 1800s-style handmade holiday ornaments. Hours are from 2 pm - 4 pm, and 6 pm - 8 pm November 30th, and 2 pm - 4 pm December 7th. Admission is free.
