The Perfect Wedding opens tonight at the Barn II Dinner Theatre. This sure fire hit takes place hours before a wedding. The bridegroom awakens after the bachelor party to a mysterious girl in his bed and his fiance at the door. On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, doors open at 6 pm, buffet is at 6:30 pm, and the show is at 8 pm. On Sundays,

The Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival begins this Friday at 7 pm at the Apollo Theatre. Patagonia presents the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival on Tour hosted by the Heart of Illinois Sierra Club. Along with environmental films, this event will feature Heritage Farmer's Market in Pekin. The festival will continue Saturday with films beginning at 7 pm. |

Also on Friday, Peoria Players Theatre proudly welcomes the return of a Peoria audience favorite, Forever Plaid. The critically acclaimed show is an affectionate revue of the close-harmony "guy groups" (e.g. The Four Aces, The Four Freshmen) that reached the height of their popularity during the 1950s. Performances run November 7-9 and 12-16 with all shows beginning at 7:30 pm except the Sunday matinees, which being at 2:30 pm. The Peoria Rivermen take on the Grand Rapids Griffins Saturday beginning at 7 pm at the Peoria Civic Center Carver Arena.
