Race for the Cure packet and t-shirt pick up is today until 7 pm at Northwoods Mall's lower-level center court.  Today is also the last day to register for the race which you can do at the same location.

Comedian Brett Erickson will perform at the Jukebox Comedy Club tonight at 8 pm for $10.  He returns Friday and Saturday night with shows at 8 pm and 10:30 pm for $14.  His shows are rated R.  Also, the month of May is the birthday special month.  Anyone with a May birthday will recieve a free ticket and anyone in thier party will recieve $2 off their ticket price.  For more information, click HERE.

Peoria Players Theatre presents Man of LaMancha, inspired by Miguel de Cervantes's seventeenth century masterpiece Don Quixote, continues this weekend. It tells the story of the "mad" knight, Don Quixote, as a play within a play, performed by Cervantes and his fellow prisoners as he awaits a hearing with the Spanish Inquisition. Performances continue tonight through Sunday and begin at 7:30 pm, except on Sunday, which is at 2:30 pm. Squabbles continues at the Barn II Dinner Theatre tonight.  This hilarious play pits a cantankerous father-in-law against a mother in a comedic succession of squabbles. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, doors open at 6 pm, buffet is at 6:30 pm, and the show is at 8 pm. Real-to-Reel Film Series presents the film "Paprika" at the Illinois Centeral College North Arbor Auditorium on Friday at 7 pm.  It tells the story of technology run amuck. Three scientists fail to secure a device they've invented, which allows people to record and watch their dreams.  Winner of 4 international film awards and nominated for another two.
