Eureka College theater department's production of Top Girls by Caryl Churchill, continues tonight at 7:30 pm through Saturday in Pritchard Theatre.  The show explores whether it is possible for women to combine a successful career with a thriving family life. Corn Stock Theatre's Winter Lab Theatre continues with Moonlight & Magnolias through Saturday at their Theatre Center.  It's a fanciful retelling of the problems surrounding the production of the movie version of the great American novel, Gone with the Wind.  Performances begin at 7:30 pm.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students 18 & under and are on sale at the Corn Stock Theatre Box Office or by calling 676-2196.

Cloud Nine opens tonight at Bradley's Hartmann Theatre.  It's a hilarious look at racial, sexual, and personal repression, the show is truly international hit and is one of the most significant plays of the last quarter of the 20th century.  Ticket prices are $14 for the public, $12 for faculty, staff & senior citizens and $7 for students. The Peoria Park District's Proctor Recreation Center will celebrate black history month on tonight from 6 - 7:30pm with  the John H. Gwynn Jr. Black History Celebration.  There will be displays dedicated to black artists, authors, singers, role models and more, as well as tables devoted to health solutions, voter registration and the NAACP. This is a free event: there will be food, giveaways, and entertainment throughout the evening.  Proctor Recreation Center is an official Safe Haven Site for Peoria's community.
