Peoria Zoo's Behind the Scenes Tour begins at 1:30 pm on Saturday. This hour-long program will take you into areas the public doesn't normally get to see. You'll learn many animals facts and see how zookeepers take care of the Zoo's animal inhabitants. Cost for the tour is $20, which include Zoo admission.

The East Peoria Chamber of Commerce wil host the 3rd Annual RiverFest at RiverFront Park in East Peoria (near Wal-Mart) on Saturday. Event times are 3 - 11 pm. Local restaurants will provide food and there will be a beer garden area for those over 21. Adults are $3 and children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Bands Mister Sister with Rachel's Hippo and Uncle Pucker will perform.
