Dames at Sea continues through Saturday evening at Corn Stock Theatre All performances begin at 7:30 pm.  Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for students 18 & under and are available at the Corn Stock Box Office or by calling 676-2196

Erin Feis opens on Friday at 4:30 pm and continues through Sunday on the Peoria Riverfront.  The annual event showcases Irish heritage through song, dance, food, drink, cultural exhibits and features Irish bands and musicians on multiple stages, a marketplace and much more. Admission is $7 per day or $12 for a 3-day pass for adults and children under 12 are free.  For more information, click HERE.

Unnecessary Farce continues this weekend at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield. On Thursday, Friday & Saturday, doors open at 6 pm, buffet is at 6:30 pm, and the show is at 8 pm. On Sunday, doors & the buffet open at noon, and the show is at 1:30 pm. Prices are $30 for Thursdays, $32 for Fridays and Sunday brunch and $34 for Saturdays. There will be a Spirit of Peoria Gospel Music Cruise on Friday featuring the gospel music of Elvis Presley with D. Wildlife Prairie State Park continues its Movie Under the Stars with Wall-E on Friday evening. Movies are shown under the park's famous tepee shelter. Admission is $12 per carload. Gates open at 7:15 pm and show time is at 8 pm. Ice cream, popcorn, smores & drinks will be available for purchase.

The Men of Playgirl Male Revue will perform for 2 shows on Friday night at 7 & 9:30 pm at the Paradice Casino.  Tickets are $30 & $50 and are available at the hotel front desk or casino gift shop or by calling 698.6083. Peoria Zoo's Behind the Scenes Tour begins at 1:30 pm on Saturday. This hour-long program will take you into areas the public doesn't normally get to see. You'll learn many animals facts and see how zookeepers take care of the Zoo's animal inhabitants. Cost for the tour is $20, which include Zoo admission.

The East Peoria Chamber of Commerce wil host the 3rd Annual RiverFest at RiverFront Park in East Peoria (near Wal-Mart) on Saturday. Event times are 3 - 11 pm. Local restaurants will provide food and there will be a beer garden area for those over 21. Adults are $3 and children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Bands Mister Sister with Rachel's Hippo and Uncle Pucker will perform. The Central Illinois Herpetological Society will present its annual Reptile & Amphibian Fair on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm at Lakeview Museum.  Admission is $3.

The 2009 PARC Benefit Auction is Saturday beginning at 6 pm at the the Par-A-Dice Hotel ballroom.  There will be a silent and live auction, hors d' oeuvres, wine and beverage tastings, desserts, and live music by Preston Jackson and Friends. Whitney Morgan & the 78's, a country band from Flint, Michigan, will perform at Club Rowdy in Germantown Hills (517 Jubilee Lane near Jubilee Foods) beginning at 8 pm on Saturday.  Admission is $8 at the door.

The 45th Annual Children's Home Youth Farm Campus Cattle Auction is Saturday from 5 - 10 pm on Pioneer Parkway across from Finish Line Ford and includes a silent auction, food, live music as well as the cattle auction.  This event benefits Children's Home's Youth Farm Campus.  Tickets are $75 each.  Seating is limited. For more information about this event, call 687.7275.

The 21st Annual Duck Race will take place this Sunday at the Peoria Riverfront in the marina near Old Chicago.  The event benefits the Center for Prevention of Abuse.  The grand prize for the raffle is a $5,000 shopping spree at Sherman's.  Other prizes include a Rainbow carnival castle play set, a $1,000 savings bond, gift certificates for Maui Jim sunglasses, a spa package at Skin Dimensions and pizza for a year from Little Caesars Pizza.  Ducks come in two sizes and are $3 and $5 each.
