Bradley University Theatre's production of The Pajama Game will continue at the Hartmann Center for the Performing Arts at 8 pm tonight through Saturday and at 2:30 pm on Sunday. The Barbershop Harmony Society Quartet Preliminaries will be held in the Peoria Civic Center Theater on Friday at 7 pm, with the finals on Saturday at 11 am. The Barbershop Harmony Society Chorus Preliminary International Competition will be held in the Civic Center Theater on Saturday at 6:30 pm. The 47th Fine Art Fair and Kids Art Festival will take place at the Peoria Riverfront this Saturday and Sunday. The Peoria Zoo will also host its Behind the Scenes Tour at the Peoria Zoo from 1:30 - 2:30 pm on Saturday.  This hour-long program will take you into areas the public doesn't normally get to see.  

The Peoria Park District hosts its popular Return to Hogwarts event this Saturday night from 5-10 pm. The Glen Oak Amphitheatre becomes the Hogwarts castle and grounds for this interactive "Harry Potter"-inspired event that is fun for the entire family.

The first annual Hope in a Hangar banquet will take place on Saturday in the Byerly Aviation Terminal to benefit Lifeline Pilots and its mission to facilitate free air transportation for financially distressed adults and children with medical and humanitarian needs. The Annual Fort Crevecoeur Fall Rendezvous is this weekend allowing visitors to experience a way of life during 1680 to 1850 involving traders and American Indians of the Central Illinois area. Gates open Saturday and Sunday 9 am - 5 pm. Admission is $2 for adults and children younger than 12 are free with an adult. All proceeds go towards the upkeep of Fort Crevecoeur Park.

John Jost and friends will perform a Chamber Music Concert featuring Hatian Composers on Saturday night beginning at 7:30 pm at Bradley University's Dingeldine Music Center (located on Barker Ave. near the Bradley campus). An offering will be taken to benefit the Ecole Sainte Trinite Summer Music Camp.

Experience life as it was during the American Colonial era from 1750 1790 at the Jubilee State Park Colonial Faire Saturday & Sunday from 9 am - 5 pm at Jubilee State Park. The Autumn Gems Quilt Show at the East Peoria Event Center this Saturday and Sunday will feature more than 500 quilts, ASQ appraisals, bed turning, door prizes, demonstrations and a merchant mall. Admission is $6 for adults and $1 for children 6-12. A 2 day pass is $10.

Pioneer Days is this Sunday at Sommer Park from 1- 4 pm. Experience the daily life of a rural Peorian in the mid-19th century by participating in blacksmithing, woodworking, gardening, and other activities.
