The NEW Red Cross CPR Made Simple course will be taught tonight from 6 - 7 pm at the American Red Cross Central Illinois Chapter located at 311 W. John H. The Peoria Chiefs will play Wisconsin tonight at 6:30 pm at O'Brien Field. On Friday and Saturday, the Chiefs will play Clinton at 6:30 pm and again on Sunday at 1 pm. "The Velveteen Rabbit" YouTheater performance will be held in the Peoria Civic Center Theater Friday morning at 10 am. Tickets are $6.50 and are on sale now. This performance is designed for students in grades K - 5.

Mackinaw Valley Vineyard will present a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater performed by Spirits of Bloomington Entertainment entitled "Bootleggers & Broads on Route 66" at the Vineyard on Friday beginning at 5:45 pm. Wildlife Prairie State Park presents Gardenscaping... Dig In! on Saturday & Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm each day at the park.  It's a two-day landscape and garden event featuring a plant sale, yard art and outdoor projects. There will also be a Kid's corner with special crafts just for them.
