Search for spring migrants and resident birds at the Migratory Bird Walk at Forest Park Nature Center on Saturday morning from 7:30 - 8:30 am with a guide from the Nature Center or Peoria Audubon. Please bring your own binoculars or you may borrow ours. All levels are welcome and no experience is required. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.

Golf balls will once again fall over Lakeview Museum's front lawn for their third annual Meteor Shower Fundraiser on Saturday beginning at 11 am and running until 4 pm. The day will be highlighted with a golf ball drop, where more than 2,000 golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter onto the front lawn in a chance to win great prizes. Golf Balls are 1 for $10, 3 for $25, 7 for $50, or 10 for $75 and can be purchased at the museum or by phone. Allied and German troops will present authentic displays of gear, weapons and vehicles at the Normandy 1944 Reenactment at Sommer Park on Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm. A public battle at 2 pm will feature clashes between the opposing sides in the war that decided the fate of the world. World War II veterans are especially encouraged to attend. Straighten Up & Fly Right, an Unforgettable Tribute to Nat King Cole, will be performed on Saturday night at the ICC Performing Arts Center beginning at 7:30 pm. This one-of-a-kind production, featuring Maurice Jacox, explores the genius of this unique entertainer and his hit-filled career spanning 1939 to 1962.
