The 2010 Tremont Turkey Festival will take place in downtown Tremont today (Thursday) from 9 am - 10 pm, Friday from 11 am - 10 pm, Saturday from 6:30 am - 10 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Holy Family Heritage Days is t oday (Thursday) through Saturday in the school/church parking lot located at the corner of Sterling & Gale in Peoria. Peoria Garden Club's Annual Garden Walk is a walking tour of six Peoria area gardens today (Thursday) from 10 am - 7 pm. A raffle of various garden related items will also be held in conjunction with the tour plus refreshments will be served at one garden.  Tickets are $20 & kids under 12 are $10. The Peoria Chiefs vs. Lansing begins tonight  at 7 pm at O'Brien Field. The Chiefs will also take on Great Lakes at home Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 6:30 pm and Sunday at 1 pm. The Junior League of Peoria will present the inaugural running of Pair Up for Health at Wildlife Prairie State Park on Saturday at 8 am. Didley's Carhop in Metamora will host a Free Family Day on Sunday.
