The 2010 Central Illinois Auto Show will take place at the Peoria Civic Center this weekend from Noon-9 pm on Friday, 10 am - 9 pm on Saturday and 10 am-6 pm on Sunday. AMVETS Live! is a three band event that will take place Friday at the AMVETS (237 NE Monroe, Peoria) beginning with Cousin Eddie at 6 pm follwed by The Willies at 8 pm and ending with The Player's Club around 10 pm. Admission is $8.

Southside Cindy & the Slip-Tones will perform at the Live at the Five Spot on Friday from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Witness the sacred Native American Ceremonial blessing of Wildlife Prairie State Park's bison and their summer pasture. The ceremony will take place Saturday at approximately 10 am and marks the release of the Bison and Elk into the main pasture for the remainder of the season. The Bison and Elk public feeding will also resume at 1 pm on this day. This and all events scheduled for this day are free with paid admission into the Park. WYZZ Fox 43 will be holding official GLEE Casting Calls on Saturday from 10 am-3 pm at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie in Peoria and the Shoppes at College Hills in Normal. The Producers of GLEE are searching the country to find new stars to fill roles in the next season of the Fox hit GLEE!  All entrants must be between the ages of 16 and 26 and must be eligible to audition under the published GLEE Local Casting Call Contest auditions rules. Bridging the gap between rock music and classical music, conductor/arranger Brent Havens will create a truly unique listening experience with the timeless songs of Led Zeppelin performed by the Peoria Symphony Orchestra and amplified with a full rock band.
