Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino presents Legends in Concert, the world's greatest live tribute show at the Par-A-Dice Hotel Ballroom tonight (Thursday) through Sunday. The performances will feature the world's greatest celebrity impersonators. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Tri-County Urban League, George Washington Carver Center and the Boys and Girls Club. The Todd Kelly Quintet will perform on the CEFCU Stage at the Landing on the Peoria RiverFront tonight (Thursday) beginning at 7 pm. Admission is free.  The event features local jazz artists and is supported by CEFCU and the Illinois Jazz Society. The Landing bar will be open to serve beverages.
 

 
The Peoria Park District Youth Music Festival "Rockin' Summer" will take place at the Glen Oak Amphitheatre tonight (Thursday) from 6:30 - 9 pm. A whole lot of shakin' will be goin' on this summer as they rock to the beat of the 50's, 60's and 70's. Admission is $3 for adults, students are free with ID. This event is partially sponsored by the Illinois Arts Council and Rotary Club of Peoria-North.

Tonight (Thursday) is Family Night at Lakeview Aquatic Center from 7:30 - 9:30 pm. Swim under the lights for a private swim designed specifically for families for one low price. In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, the W. D. Boyce Council will host Over the Edge: a rappelling event from the roof of Civic Center Plaza on Friday from 8 am - 5 pm. The event will benefit the ScoutREACH program of the W. D. Boyce Council. The Ham & Jam 2010 Music Festival & Charity Ride will take place at Expo Gardens beginning at 5 pm on Friday & Saturday benefiting the Crusaders for Kids. Wave with Paul Weddle will perform at the Live at the Five Spot on Friday from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the Contemporary Art Center. Experience "Winter in Summer" on Saturday from 11 am - 3 pm at the Peoria Zoo. Come learn how they keep their animals cool during the "dog days" of summer. The Prairie Air Showis this Saturday and Sunday at at the General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport. Gates open at 8 am and close at 6 pm both days. The feature show begins at approximately 11 am and is over at 4 pm (subject to change). Reggae on the RiverFront returns on Saturday for the third year with an expanded lineup bringing the best midwest reggae artists to CEFCU Center Stage at The Landing on the Peoria RiverFront including 77 Jefferson, Josh Heinrichs & The Soul Riddim Band, Blaise B, Nama Rupa and Art of Ill Fusion. Kickapoo Creek Winery will host an Alzheimer's Association Fundraiser this Sunday from noon to 5 pm.
