Encores will be performed at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield on Thursday, Friday & Saturday with doors opening at 6 pm, buffet at 6:30 pm, and the show at 8 pm. The Annual CEFCU Jazz Series takes place tonight (Thursday) on the Peoria RiverFront on the CEFCU Center Stage at the Landing and will feature Kevin Hart & Vibe Tribe beginning at 7 pm. Admission is free. The Thursday night series features local jazz artists and is supported by CEFCU and the Central Illinois Jazz Society.

The Illinois Shakespeare Festival at Ewing Manor (located at at 48 Sunset Rd. in Bloomington) will present The Winter's Tale tonight (Thursday) at 7:30 pm and Saturday at 8 pm.  The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) will be presented on Friday at 8 pm and Romeo & Juliet will be presented on Sunday at 7:30 pm. Take the All American City Historical Trolley Tour beginning at 10:30 am on Friday.  The tour leaves from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street near State St. in downtown Peoria).   The cost is $10. 
On Saturday, take a Springdale Cemetery/Grandview Drive Trolley Tour and visit Peoria's premier scenic drive that winds its way above the beautiful Illinois River valley beginning at 10:30 am.  Or catch the River City Historical Trolley Tour which highlights Peoria's rich history beginning 1 pm on Saturday.  The tours leave from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights) and the cost for each tour is $10. The Friday Night Water Street Fiesta willtake place this Friday between 5 - 10 pm on the 300 block of Water Street. Enjoy Peoria's riverfront with food and variety street entertainment while you shop. The street is closed off to accommodate the festival and admission is free.

Winter in Summer will be presented at the Peoria Zoo on Saturday from 11 am - 3 pm where you'll learn how the zookeepers keep the animals cool during the "dog days" of summer. The Richwoods 12th Man Golf Outing will take place this Saturday is an opportunity for golfers and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy a fun day at Kellogg Golf Course while supporting the Richwoods Knights. Airshow 2011 will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the General Wayne A. Downing Airport from 9 am to 6 pm both days. Performances begin at approximately 11 am and end by 4 pm each day. The 2nd Annual PenguinJamm will take place this Saturday at Wildlife Prairie State Park and will feature family activities beginning at 6 pm including train rides, animal presentations, a petting zoo, pony rides, and face painting. At 7 pm, JammSammich will be on hand for dancing as well as a special guest performance by The Penguin Players. Tickets are $10 for adults 13+ and $5 for kids ages 4-12 non-members. WPSP members are $8 for adults and $3 for kids. Kids under 3 are free. Food will be available for purchase. All proceeds from the evening go to support The Penguin Project and Wildlife Prairie Park. The Peoria German-American Society will host a Motorcycle Run and Corn Boil at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12503 Hickory Grove Rd. in Dunlap) on Saturday. The Motorcycle Run registration will be held at the Last Chance Bar and Grill in Alta, Illinois from 9 - 11 am. Breakfast will be available during registration. Stops include Burnzees in Brimfield, Crossroads in Farmington, Go-T-s in Peoria and ends at Hickory Grove Park. Maps and route provided at registration. The fee to participate is $15 per person and includes dinner at Hickory Grove Park. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Children's Hospital of Illinois. 
Admission and parking for the Corn Boil, which runs from from 2 - 8 pm, are both free. The rain date for this event is Sunday, July 24th at the same times. The Corn Boil cost is a $7 per person donation which includes a pork chop sandwich, sweet corn, baked beans and cole slaw. A DJ will be providing entertainment. German and domestic beers, soft drinks and a cash bar will also be available. Other activities include a bags tournament, bocci ball, archery and horseshoes. Wedding Banned will perform Saturday on the CEFCU Stage at the Landing on the Peoria Riverfront beginning at 7:30 pm. Admission is $7 per person. Wedding Banned picks two members from the audience to become the "bride" and "groom" and turns every show into the ultimate wedding reception. The Landing Bar will also be open.
Come experience firsthand the daily life of rural Peorians in the mid 19th century atPioneer Days at Sommer Park (located at 6329 N. Koerner Road in Edwards) from 1 - 4 pm on Sunday. Activities include hand dipping candles, blacksmithing, school lessons, woodworking, chores, pioneer cemetery tours, hayrides and livestock care.
