Exit the Body will be presented by the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield from tonight (Thursday) through November 6. Take Uptown Peoria Trolley Tour beginning at 10:30 am on Friday. The tour leaves from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street near State St. in downtown Peoria).  
Or try The River City Historical Trolley Tour highlighting Peoria's rich history beginning at 1 pm on Saturday. This tour leaves from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights), starting at Grandview Drive and progressing through the Averyville area to downtown Peoria, Southtown, High Street, Moss Avenue, circulating again to Downtown, Glen Oak Avenue and ending back in Peoria Heights.

The Chinquapin Folk Music & Storytelling Festival runs Friday from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm featuring six different stations each with a different performer. The 9th Annual Mark Linder Walk for the Mind will take place on Saturday at the Peoria Riverplex with registration from 7:30 am - 8:45 am. All proceeds from the Walk benefit the ABTA (American Brain Tumor Association). This year's Honorary Chairpersons are Douglas and Diane Oberhelman. Replicas of Columbus' Ships will dock in Peoria in front of Joe's Crab Shack and Retro American Tap on Saturday where they will remain until Wednesday morning. The Nina was built completely by hand and has been called "the most historically correct Columbus replica ever built" by Archaeology magazine. The Pinta was recently constructed in Brazil to accompany the Nina. The public is invited to visit the ships for a walk-aboard, self-guided tour. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for students 5 -16. Children four and under are free. The ships are open every day from 9 am - 6 pm. The Peoria Zoo Run Run will start at 8 am on Saturday starting and finishing near the Africa! portal in the zoo. There will also be a Youth Run, a quarter mile run through the park which will begin at 8:45 am. The 6th Annual Colonial Faire at Jubilee College State Park (between Kickapoo & Brimfield off Rt. 150) will be held from 9 am - 5 pm on Saturday & Sunday. Cost is $10 per car per day available at the gate.  The event will feature Colonial, civilian and military life from 1750 to 1790. Visitors will be able to visit an American Indian village, interact with colonists in their everyday life and participate in soldier's drills and military tactics. The Faire will include characters from Colonial history, such as British soldiers, colonists, hunters, Native Americans, trades and crafts people who will give a first-hand look at the daily life at that time.
