Dress for Success Peoria will present its third annual Girls Night Out Extravaganzafundraiser at Four Points by Sheraton (located at 500 Hamilton Blvd in Peoria) tonight (Thursday) from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. There will be food, vendors, a style show, demonstrations and raffles. Proceeds will benefit the organization, which provides professional attire and career development tools to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women. TakeUptown Peoria Trolley Tour beginning at 10:30 am on Friday which leaves from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street near State St. in downtown Peoria).

The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute will host its 2nd Annual Trivia Fundraiser Bash at Five Points in Washington on Friday. Doors open at 6 pm with game starting promptly at 7:30 pm. Spider Hill at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe is back this year every Friday & Saturday throughout October with The Haunted Express, the Massacre Mansion and the Trail of Terror plus the Boo Barn, which is not so scary for younger children. Gates open at 6 pm and activities begin at 7 pm and run through 11 pm each night. Tickets are $8 per attraction or wristbands including unlimited "scares" plus a balloon ride are $20.
