The tour leaves from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street near State St. in downtown Peoria).   Or try The River City Historical Trolley Tour highlighting Peoria's rich history beginning at 1 pm on Saturday. A Hummingbird Festival will take place on  Saturday at Forest Park Nature Center from 9 am - Noon. Featuring Springfield's Vernon Kleen, one of the few licensed hummingbird banders in the US, who will demonstrate banding and discuss the world of hummingbirds, you'll have a chance to feel the heartbeat of a hummingbird and "adopt" one. The event is free, however, donations are appreciated. This event is jointly sponsored by Forest Park Nature Center and the Illinois Audubon Society.
Native Americans Speak will be presented on Saturday by the Four Directions Healing Foundation, a Native American charitable and educational organization, from 10 am - 4 pm at Shore Acres Park in Chillicothe.
