sharing and inspiring poetry tonight (Thursday). with doors opening at 7:30 pm

TheOscar Mayer Wienermobile will be making appearances in the Peoria area
this weekend: at the Morton Wal-Mart (located at 155 E. Courtland St. in Morton)
on Friday, at the north Peoria Wal-Mart (located at 8195 N. Allen Road in

Bald
Eagle Day will be presented by Peoria Audubon Society and Forest Park Nature
Center on Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm at the Nature Center. Each year hundreds of
bald eagles over-winter in the Illinois River Valley. There will be a
presentation and tours to view Bald Eagles along the river. Admission is free,
however donations are appreciated. |
The
9th Annual Peoria Ice Bowl Disc Golf Tournament will take place this
Saturday in Bradley Park with registration from 10:30 - 11 am at the pavilion by
the tennis courts, a players meeting at 11:15 am and tee off at 11:30 am.
Awards will be immediately following the round at Cam's on Farmington Road.
