A free Corn Stock for Kids Auditioning Workshop will be held Saturday at the Corn Stock Theatre Center (located in Upper Bradley Park) from 1 - 3 pm. Participants will meet the director, music director, and choreographer of the upcoming production of "Cinderella" and find out exactly what to be prepared for when auditioning. Advance registration is not necessary for the workshop and you do not have to attend in order to audition for the show, but workshop attendees will have first choice of audition times. |
The Art Auction at the Garden will take place Saturday at Luthy Botanical Garden (located at 2520 N. Prospect - the corner of Prospect & Gift in Peoria). Admission is free. The auction will feature up to 50 local artists in a variety of art media. The regular auction will be held from 10 am - 5 pm and the silent auction will be held from 5 - 9 pm with hors d'oeuvres and drinks being served during this time.
