The Peoria Rivermen will take on the Chicago Wolves at the Peoria Civic Center tonight (Thursday) and Friday beginning at 7 pm.
On Saturday, the Rivermen play the Milwaukee Admirals at 7 pm. Tickets for both games range from $12.50 - $27.50 and are available at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, by phone at 309-676-1040 or online at http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/806659
Exit the Body will be presented by the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield through Sunday.  On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, doors open at 6 pm, buffet is at 6:30 pm, and the show is at 8 pm. "The Great Pumpkin" Chrysanthemum Show will be open at Luthy Botanical Garden (located at 2218 N Prospect in Peoria) from 10 am - 5 pm Tuesdays - Saturdays and from Noon - 5 pm on Sundays through Sunday. A celebration to recognize two significant art installations at the new Harrison Community Learning Center will be held Friday at 4 pm. It will be hosted by District 150, the Peoria Housing Authority and Peoria Opportunities Foundation, and commissioned artists include Fisher Stolz, professor at Bradley University, and David Standifer, a former student of Preston Jackson. The Central Illinois Artists Organization (CIAO) First Friday Studio Tour will take place Friday from 5 - 9 pm at 8 locations throughout downtown Peoria featuring 40 artists.
