The
Luthy Botanical Garden Lily Show will take place through April 8 at
the Garden (located within Glen Oak Park at 2218 N. Prospect in Peoria). See hundreds of
lilies while experiencing the world of Willy Wonka, this year's theme. Admission is $2.50 for ages 12 & up or free for children
aged 11 & under and Garden members. The Garden is open from 10 am - 5 pm on

Easter Seals Ladies Auxiliary will present its 57th Annual Fashion Show,
"Everything Old is New Again" today (Thursday) at the Par-A-Dice Hotel Ballroom

The"Dinosaurs, Solve the Mysteries" Planetarium Show at Lakeview

2012 Foodshare Can-a-Thon Neighborhood Collection will take place on Sunday
from 1-4 pm in Peoria area neighborhoods. For each can collected, the Peoria
Area Anti-Hunger Coalition will receive a $1 donation from anti-hunger agencies.
There will also be drop off sites at area Kroger stores, Peoria area Subway
restaurants and all Peoria area fire stations through April 10.

Sharbel Church will host their 36th Annual Food Festival in the Church
Parish Hall (located at 2920 W. Scenic Dr. in Peoria) on Sunday from 11 am - 7
pm. The all Lebanese menu will feature meat pies, cabbage rolls, Lebanese green
beans, Lebanese salad & Lebanese bread. Bakery items that will be available are

An
Easter Seals Piano Extravaganza will take place Sunday at St. Thomas Church
(located at 904 E. Lake Ave.
in Peoria Heights) beginning at 1:30 pm. This concert will feature pieces by
Chopin and Debussy such as Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 and Clair de Lune. Admission is
free, however donations are encouraged. Easter Seals is a national organization
that helps disabled children and their parents cope with their disabilities in
numerous ways.
