Exhibition
"K'NEX Building Thrill Rides" will take place through Sept. 1
at Lakeview Museum (located at 1125 W. Lake Ave. in Peoria) from 10 am - 5 pm
Monday -Saturday (until 8 pm on Thursdays) and from Noon - 5 pm on Sunday. Use K'NEX rods and connectors to build a thrill
ride of your own, which will help you understand the different properties of
physics such as centrifugal force, kinetic energy, and motion. Admission is $6

The
Peoria Historical Society hosts the Grandview Drive and Springdale Cemetery
Trolley Tour every Saturday from June through October from 10:30 am - Noon
and the the River City Trolley Tour every Saturday from from 1 - 2:30 pm
through August. Both Tours leave from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N
Prospect Road in Peoria Heights. Tickets are $11 (including a $1 tip for the driver)
