Arts
in the Park will feature The King Family tonight (Thursday)
beginning at 7 pm in Idlewood Park (located at 450 E. Idlewood in Morton). The
King Family performs bluegrass, gospel and some original music. Admission is
free. The Morton Tourism Association will be serving pulled pork sandwiches with
chips, sweet snacks and beverages beginning at 6:30 pm in conjunction with the

Exhibition
"K'NEX Building Thrill Rides" will take place through Sept. 1
at Lakeview Museum (located at 1125 W. Lake Ave. in Peoria) from 10 am - 5 pm
Monday -Saturday (until 8 pm on Thursdays) and from Noon - 5 pm on Sunday. Use K'NEX rods and connectors to build a thrill
ride of your own, which will help you understand the different properties of
physics such as centrifugal force, kinetic energy, and motion. Admission is $6
for adults, $4 for youth, $5 for senior citizens or free for members. For more

The
Sally Weisenberg Trio will perform in conjunction with a free wine tasting
tonight (Thursday) at Wines 'n More (located at 151 S. Main in Morton) from 5 -
8 pm. The cover charge for the band is $3 per person or $5 per couple. 
Family
Night at DragonLand Water Park (located at located at 193 Red Bud Drive in
Pekin) will take place tonight (Thursday) from 7 - 8:30 pm through the summer.
The park includes a zero depth, play/entry area, two water slides and "Dude" the
dragon slide with mushroom waterfall geyser. Admission is $8 per family of 4
plus $1 for each additional family member (families residing in the same

Business presented by Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield continues this weekend. Tonight (Thursday), Friday & Saturday, doors open at 6 pm,
