the desperate days of Normandy, 1944, a World War II Reenactment on
Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 3 pm at Sommer Park.
Admission $10 per car. On Saturday, the times for the public battles are 11 am &
2 pm and a Veteran Panel will be held at 12:30 pm. On Sunday, a church Service
will begin at 11 am and a public battle will begin at 1 pm. Allied and German
troops will present authentic displays of gear, weapons and vehicles. World War
II veterans are especially encouraged to attend where they will be honored and a
"Veteran's Panel" will be held. There will be transportation available around
the camps for those who need assistance. |

Exhibition "K'NEX Building Thrill Rides" will take place from June 2nd
through September 1 at Lakeview Museum in Peoria. Use K'NEX rods and connectors
to build a thrill ride of your own, which will help you understand the different
properties of physics such as centrifugal force, kinetic energy, and motion.
