"The Nightmare Before Christmas" Chrysanthemum Show continues daily at Luthy Botanical Garden.  Hours are 10 am - 5 pm on Tuesdays - Saturdays and from Noon - 5 pm on Sundays through November 4th. Cost is $2.50 for adults (ages 13 and up) or free for children aged 12 and under and Garden Members.

Bradley University will hold its fall Robison Lecture, featuring Time magazine columnist and author Joe Klein tonight (Thursday) beginning at 7:30 pm in the Michel Student Center Ballroom. 32nd Annual Spin-In - It's All About Lace, the annual convention of the Bishop Hill Fiber Guild, will take place at the East Peoria Events Center (located at 4200 East Washington Street in East Peoria) on Saturday from 9 am - 4 pm. The event will feature sheep shearing, workshops to explore new techniques, vendors of both supplies and finished one-of-a kind items, and expert instruction on spinning and weaving.
