"The Nightmare Before Christmas" Chrysanthemum Show continues daily at Luthy Botanical Garden.  Hours are 10 am - 5 pm on Tuesdays - Saturdays and from Noon - 5 pm on Sunday. Cost is $2.50 for adults (ages 13 and up) or free for children aged 12 and under and Garden Members.
The Peoria County Triad's 3rd Annual Chili Supper and Bake Sale will take place today (Thursday) from 4 - 7 pm at the First Church of the Brethren (located at 4714 N. Sheridan Road in Peoria) featuring all you can eat Chili, cornbread, dessert and drinks for a suggested donation of $5 per person. The bake sale will be based on donations as well. All proceeds go to further the programs of Peoria County Triad.

The Central Illinois Herpetological Society will meet at Forest Park Nature Center tonight (Thursday) at 7 pm featuring a speaker, raffles, announcements of trips and exhibits and opportunities for hobbyists to interact with one another.
