Conversation with Ninian Edwards and Chief Gomo will take place tonight
(Thursday) beginning at 7 pm at the United Presbyterian Church (located at 2400
W. Northmoor Road in Peoria). The event is free but donations will be accepted
to offset expenses. On the bicentennial of the very night Edward's men burned
Peoria in the War of 1812, spend an hour with two of the most pivotal and
dynamic personalities in Illinois History as portrayed by Brian "Fox" Ellis. For

Over Mrs. Markham continues tonight (Thursday) at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre
in Goodfield and runs through Sunday. On Thursdays, Fridays &
Saturdays, doors open at 6 pm, buffet is at 6:30 pm, and the show is at 8 pm and
on Sundays, doors & the buffet open at noon, and the show is at 1:30 pm. Prices

The
Philadelphia Story will be presented by the Bradley University Theatre
Department at Hartmann Center on the Bradley campus beginning at 8 pm tonight
(Thursday), Friday & Saturday and at 2:30 on Sunday. Tickets are $14 for adults,

ADownton Abbey Season 2 Marathon will be held from 10:30 am - Noon on

completely restored 1919 Hinners organ at the Universalist Unitarian Church

Men's Basketball will take on Eastern Illinois at the Peoria Civic Center

famous homemade Chicken & Noodle Dinner on Saturday from 2 - 8 pm. Prices
for the dinners are $8 for adults and $5 for children and includes a drink and a
home made desserts. There will be plenty of room to sit and enjoy holiday music

artist David Alan Badger will sign his latest book, Sweet Desserts from
Peoria Illinois, at the Pettengill-Morron House Museum (located at 1212 W Moss
Ave. in Peoria) on Sunday from 2 - 4 pm. The book is a compilation of pen and
ink drawings of historical Peoria homes and businesses paired with favorite
desserts from local businesses and organizations. The book will be on sale for
$25 and part of the proceeds will benefit The Peoria Historical Society. For
