The Peoria Area Anti-Hunger Coalition's Foodshare Can-a-thon runs through the 22 with volunteers will be going go door to door on Sunday, March 10 from 1 - 4 pm to collect canned and non-perishable goods for area food pantries. The March Madness Experience will be held in the Peoria Civic Center Exhibit Hall tonight (Thursday) through Saturday and next Thursday through Saturday from 6 pm - 9 pm on Thursdays, 10 am - 9 pm on Fridays and 10 am - 6:30 pm on Saturdays. The 13th Annual Farmers Share of the Food Dollar Breakfast sponsored by the Peoria County Farm Bureau will be held on Saturday from 7 - 11 am in the Youth Building at Exposition Gardens in Peoria.
