The Young Professionals of Greater Peoria (YPGP) April Social will take place at Dewberry Architects (located at 401 S.W. Water Street, Suite 701 in downtown Peoria) tonight (Thursday) from 5 - 7 pm. The Peoria Chiefs Season Opener will take place tonight (Thursday) against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers beginning at 6:30 pm at Peoria Chiefs Stadium.  They play again at home on Friday at 6:30 pm, on Saturday at 1 pm and on Sunday at 2 pm. Unnecessary Farce continues tonight (Thursday) at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield and runs through April 14. The Peoria Metro New Car Dealers Association's 2013 Central Illinois Auto Show will feature its 34 dealers displaying over 300 vehicles from 30 different manufacturers at the Peoria Civic Center from Noon - 8 pm on Friday, 11 am - 8 pm on Saturday ad from 11 am - 5 pm on Sunday. Admission is $5 for ages 16 & older and free for ages 15 & under with a paid adult.
