The Arthritis Walk Kick Off will take place at PetSmart in East Peoria

The Annual Bison Grounds Blessing Pow Wow will take place at Wildlife Prairie
Park on Sunday beginning at 10 am. This sacred Native American ceremony,
co-hosted by Seven Circles Heritage Center, begins with the blessing of the
Park's bison herd and their summer pasture. The ceremonies will be followed by a
day full of celebration through dance, song, organic art, and demonstrations
throughout the park. The Pow Wow at the train depot activities from Noon - 4 pm
include a native American singers and dancers drum circle hosted by Spirit of
the Rainbow with guests from Black Fox and Eagle Ridge, storytelling, fry bread
sampling, spirit doll demonstrations, flute making and free children's crafts.
