The 28th Annual Arts In Education Spring Celebration will be held on Friday
and each weekday through May 24 at the Peoria County Courthouse Plaza from 11 am
- 1:30 pm. The Spring Celebration highlights the talents of Pre-K through 12th
grade students from seven Central Illinois counties. Over 12,000 students
perform, exhibit and demonstrate their talents in the Fine Arts and Applied Arts

raise awareness of child abuse by joining "Hands Around the Courthouse"
at the Peoria County Courthouse Plaza on Friday beginning at 12 pm. Advocacy and
justice officials will speak at the sixth annual event to draw attention to the
more than 1,000 pending child abuse and neglect cases in Peoria County.

am - 1 pm on the East Peoria campus in the Lawrence Hall parking lot where you

The 9th Annual Earth Day Celebration will be held at Forest Park Nature

The Hope in a Hangar fundraising event for LifeLine Pilots will take place at
the Byerly Aviation Terminal in the General Downing International Airport on

champagne raffle featuring a blue topaz and diamond bracelet donated by Jones

The ICC Hard Bop Jazz Band, a 14-piece jazz big band directed by Larry Harms,
will perform at the Starting Gate Banquet Room in Landmark Recreation Center
