The Central Illinois Herpetological Society will meet at Forest Park Nature

The28th Annual Arts In Education Spring Celebration will be held on Friday
and each weekday through May 24 at the Peoria County Courthouse Plaza from 11 am

Peoria Art Guild will host "Poignant Slippers", a young artist
extravaganza in conjunction with the Peoria Ballet & Bradley University

The Friends of the Children of Haiti 5k will take place at Festival Park's
Gateway Building (located at 200 N. E. Water St. in downtown Peoria) on Friday
with the race beginning at 6 pm and party from 6:30 - 9 pm which will include a
silent auction. Entry cost is $30 per adult or $50 per adult with one child
(under 18) and includes a tech shirt, chip timing and all event festivities

Peoria Riverfront Museum will host "FORE the Fun of It," an evening of
miniature golf, culinary delights and drinks plus live music on Friday from 6
