The Heart of Illinois Fair continues at Expo Gardens (located at 1601
West Northmoor Road in Peoria) through Saturday with
gates open from 10 am - 10 pm each day. Attractions include a carnival, live
entertainment, a bags tournament, a kiddie tractor pull, a KCBS BBQ cook-off, a
petting zoo, and the Rising Star Singing Contest plus much more. General
admission is $10 for ages13 & over, $5 for children aged 6 - 12 and free for

The
Odd Couple (Female Version) opens tonight (Thursday) at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield and
runs through August 25th. On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, doors
open at 6 pm, buffet is at 6:30 pm, and the show is at 8 pm. On Sundays, doors &
the buffet open at noon, and the show is at 1:30 pm. Prices are $33 for

The
Junior League of Peoria will host a New Member Social tonight (Thursday)
at 6 pm at the Junior League headquarters (located at 256 NE Randolph Ave. in
Peoria) for those who are interested in making a difference in the community,

The Peoria Chiefs will take on the South Bend Silver Hawks tonight (Thursday)
& Friday beginning at 7 pm and the West Michigan Whitecaps on Saturday beginning

Morton Fine Arts Assoc. will host Sister Groove in concert

The Harlan Geiser Jazz Quartet featuring local jazz artists will perform tonight
(Thursday) on the CEFCU Center Stage at The Landing on Peoria's RiverFront from

Night will take place at DragonLand Water Park (located at 193 Red Bud Drive

area, two water slides that twist and turn and "Dude" the dragon slide with a

Illinois Shakespeare Festival will present Macbeth

Historical Society's Naughty to Nice Trolley Tour traces Peoria history
from 1920's to the present and will take place every Friday in July beginning at
10:30 am leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in
downtown Peoria). The Haunted Peoria explores the darker side of
Peoria and takes you to places where strange sightings and legendary deaths have
been reported. The tour will take place every every Saturday in July beginning
at 1 pm leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in
downtown Peoria). And their River City Tour will take
place every every Saturday in July beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Harp &
Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights). Cost for
each tour is $12 (including a $1 tip for the driver) and seniors 65 and older

Sightseeing Cruise will take place on Friday, Saturday & Sunday on the Spirit of Peoria with
boarding beginning at 1:30 pm and the cruise running from 2 - 3:30 pm. On
Saturday only, there is also a cruise from 11 am - 1:30 pm with boarding
beginning at 10:30 am. And on Friday night from 8 - 10 pm, enjoy a
Moonlight Cruise with boarding beginning at 7:30 pm. Tickets for all these

Contemporary Art Center will feature Stephanie Aaron

Stargazing
at Northmoor at the Northmoor Observatory (located on the Donovan Golf
Course at 5805 N. Knoxville Ave. in Peoria) will be open to the public for
stargazing from dusk until 11 pm on Saturday (If the skies are cloudless).
Volunteers will be on hand to aid you in viewing the night sky through the
telescope, locating planets and constellations, and discovering wonders of the

The 4th Annual Shrimp & Corn Boil presented by Kroger will be take place at
