The Heart of Illinois Fair continues at Expo Gardens (located at 1601 West Northmoor Road in Peoria) through Saturday with gates open from 10 am - 10 pm each day. The Odd Couple (Female Version) opens tonight (Thursday) at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield and runs through August 25th. The Junior League of Peoria will host a New Member Social tonight (Thursday) at 6 pm at the Junior League headquarters (located at 256 NE Randolph Ave. in Peoria) for those who are interested in making a difference in the community, learning about the organization and meeting some of the members. Peoria Historical Society's Naughty to Nice Trolley Tour traces Peoria history from 1920's to the present and will take place every Friday in July beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in downtown Peoria).  The Haunted Peoria explores the darker side of Peoria and takes you to places where strange sightings and legendary deaths have been reported. The tour will take place every every Saturday in July beginning at 1 pm leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in downtown Peoria). And their River City Tour will take place every every Saturday in July beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights). Cost for each tour is $12 (including a $1 tip for the driver) and seniors 65 and older ride the trolley free with proof of age and a regular ticket purchase. Stargazing at Northmoor at the Northmoor Observatory (located on the Donovan Golf Course at 5805 N. Knoxville Ave. in Peoria) will be open to the public for stargazing from dusk until 11 pm on Saturday (If the skies are cloudless). Volunteers will be on hand to aid you in viewing the night sky through the telescope, locating planets and constellations, and discovering wonders of the cosmos. Admission and parking is free.
