Odd Couple (Female Version) continues tonight (Thursday) at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield and
runs through August 25th. On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, doors

Peoria
Historical Society's Naughty to Nice Trolley Tour traces Peoria history
from 1920's to the present and will take place every Friday in July beginning at
10:30 am leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in
downtown Peoria). The Haunted Peoria explores the darker side of
Peoria and takes you to places where strange sightings and legendary deaths have
been reported. The tour will take place every every Saturday in July beginning
at 1 pm leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in
downtown Peoria). And their River City Tour will take
place every every Saturday in July beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Harp &

The
Peoria Riverfront Museum will present Bubble Blast! The Science of Bubbles
in their Sun Plaza on Friday from 11 - 11:30 am. Fun for all ages, although this
program is targeted toward pre-kindergarten visitors. Super Saturday will
take place on Saturday at the Peoria Riverfront Museum beginning at 1 pm
featuring the chance to view insect specimens and design your own bug.
Demonstrations and activities on a variety of topics will also be offered to
museum visitors. Admission is free to members or $11 for adults, $10 for

Sightseeing Cruise will take place on Friday, Saturday & Sunday on the
Spirit of Peoria with boarding beginning at 1:30 pm and the cruise running from
2 - 3:30 pm. On Saturday only, there is also a cruise from 11 am - 1:30 pm with

The 3nd Annual BBQ Throwdown cooking contest will be held in Downtown Morton
on Friday from 5 - 10 pm and Saturday from 10 am - 10 pm. Featuring over 40
contestants, there's a "Backyard" contest for amateur grillers plus there will
be lots of BBQ available available for purchase plus live music from Jury's Out,
Midnight Special, Mister Sister, and Jammsammich. There will also be crafters, a

at Northmoor at the Northmoor Observatory (located on the Donovan Golf

Volunteers will be on hand to aid you in viewing the night sky through the
telescope, locating planets and constellations, and discovering wonders of the

Fraternal Order of Police #157 will host its second annual Bags for Badges
Tournament at the Itoo Hall on Sunday beginning at Noon. Registration opens
at 11 am and runs $40 per two-player team (price includes commemorative

Park's Pioneer Days on Sunday from 1-4 pm. Activities at the Homestead,
Barn, Blacksmith Shop and Schoolhouse may include laundry, gardening,
woodworking, blacksmithing, candle making, hands-on children's activities. This
month's theme is Pioneer "Free Time". Admission is $2.25 per person for
ages 4 and up.
The
Peoria Public Library North Branch (located at 3001 W Grand Pkwy. in Peoria)
will host Trillium, comprised of four talented musicians playing hammered
dulcimer, guitar, banjo, bass, and mandolin, on Sunday from 2 - 4 pm Admission
