Peoria Historical Society's Abraham Lincoln and The Civil War Tour tells the story of Lincoln's visits to Peoria, the Civil War troops and Camp Peoria & Camp Lyon where they trained and will take place every Friday in August beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in downtown Peoria).  The Haunted Peoria Tour explores the darker side of Peoria and takes you to places where strange sightings and legendary deaths have been reported. The Harmonie-Concordia Singers of the Peoria German American Society will host their annual Bratfest, a traditional German Picnic, at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12503 Hickory Grove Rd. in Dunlap) on Sunday from noon - 8 pm. In conjunction with the Bratfest, an import and craft beer tasting will also be held from 1 - 5 pm with over 25 different beers available to sample.  Eddie Korosa and the Boys from Illinois will provide live music. The Peoria Historical Society's Pettengill-Morron House Museum (located at 1212 Moss Avenue in Peoria) will host "Miss Morron's World Travels Exhibit" celebrating the travels of Miss Jean Morron on Sunday from 1 - 4 pm. The exhibit features her 1957 four-and-half month around the world cruise including her favorite United States destinations such as New York City, Boston and other cities along the Eastern Seaboard plus Paris, London and other European cities.
