The 2013 Washington Cherry Festival will be held behind John Bearce Companies
on Business US RT 24 in Washington tonight (Thursday) through Saturday night.
The Festival opens at 5 pm tonight (Thursday), 9 am on Friday and 7 am on

The Easter Seals Backroads Tour is an annual motorcycle fun run that will
begin at 9 am on Saturday at Kelleher's Irish Pub in downtown Peoria and
conclude with a concert featuring The Boat Drunks beginning at 8:30 pm on the
CEFCU Center Stage at Peoria Riverfront. The ride's mission is to raise money in
support of central Illinois Easter Seals. Cost to participate is $20 per rider

the desperate days of Normandy 1944 at this World War II Reenactment at
Sommer Park (located at 6329 N. Koerner Road in Edwards) from 10 am - 4 pm on

11 am & 2 pm on Saturday and 1 pm on Sunday with a Veteran Panel at 12:30 pm on

day. Allied and German troops will present authentic displays of gear, weapons
and vehicles. World War II veterans are especially encouraged to attend, as they

The Art on Main Festival will take place from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday and

Stargazing
at Northmoor at the Northmoor Observatory (located on the Donovan Golf
