Peoria Historical Society's Naughty to Nice Trolley Tour, which traces Peoria history from 1920's to the present, will take place every Friday in September beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in downtown Peoria).  The Haunted Peoria Tour explores the darker side of Peoria and takes you to places where strange sightings and legendary deaths have been reported and will take place every Saturday through October beginning at 1 pm leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in downtown Peoria). And their River City Tour will take place every Saturday in September beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights). The Mark Linder Walk for the Mind, a one mile walk to support brain tumor research, will be held at the Peoria Riverplex (located at 600 NE Water Street on the Peoria riverfront) on Saturday with registration & the raffle beginning at 7:30 am and the program starting at 9 am. The 51st Annual Peoria Art Guild's Fine Art Fair, one of the largest and top ranking visual arts events in Central Illinois, will be held on the Peoria Riverfront from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday & Sunday. Featuring over 150 local, national and international visual artists from 26 states, Canada, Argentina and Israel, this is a live, in-person art gallery where visitors can see and buy original artwork from local, national and international artists. The Fair also features a children's art festival with make-and-take projects, a community mural, live music and dance performances, food and more.
