Time Change Takes
Effect on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 pm
The Annual Chrysanthemum Show continues at Luthy Botanical Garden from 10 am - 5 pm today (Thursday) through Saturday and Noon - 5 pm on Sunday. This year's theme is "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and is full of hundreds of mums. The Gift Shop will have selected merchandise marked down. Hayrides and Hotdogs will take place at Sommer Park (located at 6329 N. Koerner Road in Edwards) tonight (Thursday) night from 5 - 7 pm. Enjoy hot dogs for roasting, chips, carrots, baked beans, marshmallows and drinks plus hayrack rides and mid 1800s Autumn Play Party activities (sack races, fortune telling) Costumes are strongly encouraged for both children and adults. Harvey continues (Thursday) at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield and runs through November 10th. The Central Illinois Youth Symphony will present its Spooky Symphony Halloween Concert tonight (Thursday) at 7 pm at First Federated Church (located at 3601 N. Sheridan Road in Peoria).
