The Illinois State Fair continues through Sunday in Springfield. Admission is $7 for adults (ages 13 - 59), $3 for children (ages 5-12), free for children under 5), and $3 for senior citizens (ages 60 and older). Vehicle Parking per day is $7. The Odd Couple (Female Version) continues tonight
(Thursday) at the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield and runs through August 25th. On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, doors open at 6 pm, buffet is at 6:30 pm, and the show is at 8 pm. Latin Rhythms on the River hosted by the Peoria Historical Society will take place tonight (Thursday) on the Spirit of Peoria where you'll cruise the Illinois River with history buffs, enjoy music by Peoria's own Brazilionaires plus food & drink (cash bar). Peoria Historical Society's Abraham Lincoln and The Civil War Tour tells the story of Lincoln's visits to Peoria, the Civil War troops and Camp Peoria & Camp Lyon where they trained and will take place every Friday in August beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Kelleher's Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in downtown Peoria). The Haunted Peoria Tour explores the darker side of Peoria and takes you to places where strange sightings and legendary deaths have been reported. A Sightseeing Cruise will take place on Friday, Saturday & Sunday on the Spirit of Peoria with boarding beginning at 1:30 pm and the cruise running from 2 - 3:30 pm, plus an early cruise on Saturday with boarding at 10:30 am and cruising from 11 am - 12:30 pm. A Moonlight Cruise will take place on the Spirit of Peoria on Friday with boarding at 7:30 pm and the cruise running from 8 - 10 pm. Live entertainment will be provided.
