The 30th Annual Stocking Stuffer Storewill take place at Northwoods Mall & the Shoppes at Grand Prairie through December 22 where children ages 12 and under can shop (with the assistance of an adult volunteer) for holiday presents for parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. while parents relax in a seating area located outside the store. Gifts range from $1 - $8. Folepi's Winter Wonderland continues through New Year's Eve at the VFW Post 2078 Park off Springfield Road (located at 123 Par 3 Lane in East Peoria). Drive through a million sparkles of excitement in the Festival of Lights' signature event. Folepi's Winter Wonderland features the majority of the Parade of Lights floats and many other lighted displays.  Hours are 5 - 9 pm Sundays through Thursdays and 5 - 11 pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Christmas on the Ghost Front will take place on Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm at Sommer Park (located at 6329 N. Koerner Rd. in Edwards). It's December 1944 and Christmas is coming: a detachment of American troops from the 106th Infantry Division have settled into a small Belgian farmhouse not far from the German border. The men of the 106th have replaced veteran combat divisions at a quiet sector of the line to await a spring offensive. Little do they know that the largest battle in U.S. Military history is only a few short days away. Join World War II veterans, historians and re-enactors as the days leading up to the Battle of the Bulge are recreated at the Pioneer Homestead. Demonstrations will include soldier life, military vehicles, POW interrogation, and a first aid station. Admission is $5 per vehicle. The 4th Annual Kristkindlmarkt will be held at the Lindenhof, (located at 7601 N. Harker Drive in Peoria) from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday & 11 am - 5 pm on Sunday. Vendors will offer a variety of arts and crafts for Holiday gift giving plus imported items from Germany and Austria. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase including bratwurst, schnitzel, homemade strudel, glühwein, hot chocolate, Bavarian pretzels, and German beer. Entertainment will be provided each day featuring the Lindehhof Echoes (an alpine horn group), a brass group playing Christmas Carols, as well as Christmas Carolers. Radio 4 Relief, a concert organized to help rebuild the communities in Central Illinois affected by the tornado and supply the victims with supplies they need, will take place at the Peoria Civic Center on Saturday with doors opening at 11 am and live music from Noon - 11:45 pm. Sixteen artists are scheduled to perform on two stages. Tickets are $25 and 100% of the proceeds will go to Central Illinois tornado victims.
