The2014 Mid-West Truck & Trailer Show
will take place from 9 am - 5 pm on
Friday & from 9 am - 4 pm on Saturday in
the Peoria Civic Center Exhibit Hall.
See the latest trucks, trailers,
engines, parts and services for truck
operators. The "Trucker's Pride" Truck
Beauty Contest showcases the best in
work and show trucks and the Trucker's
Pinewood Derby is for all ages.

Howlin'
on Water Dueling Pianos will take
place in The Broadway Lounge (located at
316 SW Washington Street in Peoria) with
dinner beginning at 6:30 pm. Cost is $38

Monster
Jam 2014 will be presented at the
Peoria Civic Center on Friday at 7 pm,
Saturday at 2 pm and Sunday at 7 pm.
Before Saturday's afternoon show, meet
the drivers, get their autographs, take
photos and see the trucks up close at
the Party in the Pits. Pit Passes are

Mike
Toomey's TV & Me will be presented
at the ICC Performing Arts Center
(located at 1 College Dr. in East
Peoria) on Friday beginning at 7:30 pm.
This nostalgic, multimedia trip back to
60s and 70s TV land includes hundreds of
slides and sound clips, along with Mike
Toomey's spot-on vocal impressions of
many popular TV characters of the time.

Township High School will host
JazzFest 2014 featuring Northern
Illinois University's Jazz Ensemble and
special guest Donald Harrison at the
Kenneth H. Maurer Performing Arts Center

Gertie's
Groundhog Day Outing will take place at
Wildlife Prairie Park from 6 - 9 am
featuring park naturalists to teach
about the history of Groundhog Day,
local musician, Barry Cloyd, who will
teach everyone the song, "Wake Up,
Gertie". Admission is free and the first
500 people in the gates will receive a
coupon from McDonald's for a free large
sandwich and the first 200 people will
get a coupon from Buffalo Wild Wings for
six free wings with the purchase of one
