The Lilies and The Lorax Lily Show
will take place at the Luthy Botanical
Garden (located at 2520 N. Prospect Rd.
in Peoria) from 10 am - 5 pm today
(Thursday) - Saturday and Noon - 5 pm on
Sunday. Admission is $2.50 for adults
aged 13 and up, and free for children 12

& Shout will take place at the
Contemporary Art Center tonight
(Thursday) with doors opening at 7:30 pm
and the show beginning at 8 pm. An
open mic for sharing and inspiring

The Central Illinois Herpetological
Society will meet at Forest Park
Nature Center tonight (Thursday) at 7 pm

25th Annual Central Illinois Auto Show will take place at the Peoria Civic
Center from Noon - 8 pm on Friday, from

The CIAO First Fridays Artists' Tour

The Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum
"Before" Party will allow you to
spend an evening exploring the historic
Glen Oak Park Pavilion and experience
the six planned galleries in the museum
with detailed design drawings, themed
food, drink, and entertainment on Friday

evening is an exclusive silent auction

will host their annual Shamrock 5K
and Pancake Breakfast on Saturdaybeginning at 9 am at the Markin
Recreational Center on the Bradley

(Shamrock Stride) or 1 mile walk
(Shamrock Strut) is $15. The
all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast
follows the race in Williams Hall

The Million March Against Child Abuse
will take place on Saturday beginning at

Shelton Brothers lived, played and died
in Peoria as they dominated the
bootlegging and gambling trade during
