The Lilies and The Lorax Lily Show
will take place at the Luthy Botanical
Garden (located at 2520 N. Prospect Rd.

presentation by Dr. Robert J. Lang
entitled "Flapping Birds to Space
Telescopes: The Art & Science of Origami"

Pediatric Resource Center will host the Kick Abuse at Kickapoo 5K Trail
Run/Fun Walk at Kickapoo Creek
Winery (located at 6605 N. Smith Road in
Edwards) on Saturday with registration
beginning at 7:30 am, the race beginning
at 8:30 am and a brunch after the
run/walk. All proceeds will go toward
helping the PRC provide medical exams
and case management services to child
victims of neglect and physical or

Easter Seals will host Miles for
Milestones: Inaugural Run, Walk and Roll,
including a 5K and one-mile route
through East Peoria's Levee District on
Saturday beginning at 8 am, with a
post-race party at the Holiday Inn.
Runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes
of all abilities are welcome. Funds
raised will help provide specialized
pediatric therapy services in central
Illinois. Registration is $30 for the 5k

from the Easter Bunny and more.

10th Annual Earth Day Festival will
be held on Saturday at Forest Park
Nature Center (located at 5809 N. Forest
Park Drive in Peoria Heights) on
Saturday from 11 am - 4 pm. "Think

others and there will be food,
educational materials, hands-on demos,
