The Kwanzaa Display at Luthy Botanical Garden (located at 2520 N Prospect Rd. in Peoria) continues through 5 pm today (New Year's Eve) featuring a display of African plants throughout the Holiday Poinsettia Show. Learn the significance of Mishumaa Saba and Zawadi. Conservatory admission are waived, however donations are accepted.
Folepi's Winter Wonderland ends tonight at 9 pm (New Year's Eve) at the VFW Post 2078 Park off Springfield Road (located at 123 Par 3 Lane in East Peoria). The drive-through electric park is the Festival of Lights' signature event featuring the majority of the Parade of Lights floats and many other lighted displays. The Bloomington Thunder will play at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum (located at 101 S. Madison St. in Bloomington) tonight (New Year's Eve) beginning at 7 pm. Henry Phillips will perform at the Jukebox Comedy Club tonight (New Year's Eve) at 8 pm & 11 pm, Friday at 8 pm and Saturday at 8 pm and10:30 pm. Tickets are $21 tonight (New Year's Eve), $15 for the Friday show and the Saturday 8 pm show and $12 for the 10:30 pm Saturday show. A Special Salsa Dance will take place at the Contemporary Art Center tonight (New Year's Eve) from 8:30 - 9:30 pm for an introductory lesson and the party runs from 9:30 pm - 1 am. Included are party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Admission is $4 for members and $7 for non-members.

Howlin' on Water Dueling Pianos will take the stage tonight (New Year's Eve) in the Ballroom at the MAXAM Building (located at the corners of Liberty and Washington in Downtown Peoria) with dinner seating beginning at 6 pm.
