Folepi's
Winter Wonderland runs through New Year's Eve at the VFW
Post 2078 Park off Springfield Road
(located at 123 Par 3 Lane in East
Peoria). The drive-through electric park
is the Festival of Lights' signature
event featuring the majority of the
Parade of Lights floats and many other
lighted displays. Hours are 5 - 9 pm
Sundays through Thursdays and 5 - 11 pm
on Fridays & Saturdays. Cost is $10 for
all vehicles excepts full size buses,

The Washington Square Candlelight Stoll
will take place tonight (Thursday) in
downtown Washington beginning at 6 pm.
Featuring carriage rides, visits with

The Spirit of Peoria Holiday Lunch Show
Cruise featuring Brian "Fox" Ellis

1,000 luminaries with strolling

a Candlelight Walk through the
Pointsettia Show at Luthy Botanical
Garden (located at 2520 N. Prospect in
Peoria) on Fridays and Saturdays through
December 20th from 6 - 9 pm. The walk
takes you through the Poinsettia Show at

of candles, while enjoying live
performances of holiday music. The show

Christmas features breakfast and
crafts in the Peoria Zoo lodge (located

Family Breakfast at Embassy Suites

Christmas
on the Ghost Front will take place
on Saturday at Sommer Park (located at
6329 N. Koerner Rd. in Edwards) from 10
am - 4 pm. Featuring World War II
veterans, historians, and re-enactors of
the days leading up to the Battle of the
Bulge with reenactment at Sommer Park's
Pioneer Homestead. Demonstrations will
include a look into daily soldier life,
military vehicles, drills and food

Klondike Festival will take place on
Saturday on the Peoria RiverFront from
11 am - 5 pm. Admission is $5 for

well as Jingle Bell Run/Walk

Rivermen Hockey Puck Shot, a Best Beard
Contest, an Ice Stein Challenge,
life-sized beer pong plus the Klondike
Race, a human dog-sled race made up of
teams of 5 who will pull sleds across
the RiverFront. Registration for the
race is $100 and includes admission to
the festival and a shirt for each member

A Toys for Tots Holiday Extravaganzawill take place on Saturday at
Studio 29 (located at 6523 N. Galena
Road in Peoria) from 4 - 7 pm to collect
toy donations for less fortunate
children in the Peoria area. There will
