They Day of Enlightenment will take place at Wildlife Prairie Park from 10 am - 2 pm on Friday in conjunction with the Olde English Faire to provide educational opportunities for kids of all ages. See the Knights of Valour, the Sky Kings Falconry and afterwards, wander through the merchants selling olden-time products and goodies until 5 pm. Then, the Olde English Faire will take place at the Wildlife Prairie Park on Saturday & Sunday from 10 am- 5 pm each day. Featuring entertainment such as jousting performed by the "Knights of Vaour", sword fighting and falconry there will also be vendors, food and more on hand. One day admission is $10 for ages 13 and up, $6 for ages 3 to 12 and kids 2 and under are free. Two-day passes are $15 for ages 13 and up, $9 for ages 3-12 and free for children 2 and under. The Peoria Public Library will host its Living Proof Exhibit a display of artwork by cancer patients and survivors, in its downtown gallery through June 30th. The exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours. An artists' reception will be held on Saturday from 2 - 4 pm. Living Proof Exhibit, a nonprofit organization founded by breast cancer survivors Mary Ellen Cunningham and Pamela Crouch, has been sharing the therapeutic benefits of creating art with cancer patients, survivors, their families and caregivers for several years. Peoria Historical Society's Grandview Drive & Springdale Cemetery Trolley Tour winds along Grandview Drive takes place every Friday in June beginning at 11 am leaving from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights).  The Abraham Lincoln and The Civil War Tour runs every Saturday in June beginning at 11 am telling the story of Lincoln's visits to Peoria, the Civil War troops and Camp Peoria & Camp Lyon where they trained plus visits Springdale Cemetery to see the final resting place of Civil War veterans and drives by the GAR Hall, built in 1909, to hear the story of Joseph Greenhut, one of the Whiskey Barons who provided funding for the Hall .And the Roll Out the Barrel Tour takes you through the earliest sections of downtown Peoria and into the Warehouse District where you'll discover facts about distilling in Peoria running every Saturday in June beginning at 1:30 pm.
