The Peoria Chiefs will
take on Burlington tonight (Thursday) & Friday beginning at 7 pm at Dozer Stadium. Individual tickets are $10 for club box seating ($11 on Fireworks nights) and $7 for lawn seats and are available at the Peoria Chiefs Box Office, by calling 309-680-4008 or online at 
Whisper & Shout at
the Contemporary Art Center, an open mic for sharing and inspiring poetry, will take place tonight (Thursday) beginning at 8 pm. Admission is $4 for members or $8 for non-members.

Tournament Semi Finals will take place at the Jukebox Comedy Club tonight (Thursday) and Friday at 8 pm with the finals on Saturday at 8 pm. Peoria Historical Society's
River City Trolley Tour will wind along Grandview Drive every Friday in September beginning at 11 am leaving from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights). Their "Naughty to Nice Tour" traces triumphs through time from the 1920's to the present featuring stories of the city's gangster era including driving by the site of Peoria's most notorious crime scene: The Bernie Shelton murder. The CIAO First Fridays
Artists' Tour will take place on Friday from 5 - 9 pm at 10 different locations in downtown Peoria including The Mill, the Contemporary Art Center and the Peoria Art Guild plus The Speakeasy Art Center in Pekin where visitors can view artist demonstrations as well as purchase pieces.
