A Twist of Lemmon, a
true father/son story of the Golden Age of Hollywood featuring Chris Lemmon as his father Jack Lemmon continues tonight (Thursday) through Sunday at the Apollo Theatre (located at 311 S. Peoria Historical Society's
River City Trolley Tour will wind along Grandview Drive on Friday beginning at 11 am leaving from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights). Their "Naughty to Nice Tour" traces triumphs through time from the 1920's to the present featuring stories of the city's gangster era including driving by the site of Peoria's most notorious crime scene: The Bernie Shelton murder. The Heart of Illinois BBQ &
Bluegrass Festival will take place at Expo Gardens beginning at 4 pm on Friday and at 10 am on Saturday. The Peoria Neon Vibe 5K
will take place on Friday at the CEFCU Stage on the Peoria Riverfront beginning at 5 pm with the race beginning shortly after sunset. Discover the Dinosaurs
will take place in the Peoria Civic Center Exhibit Hall from 10 am - 7 pm on Saturday & Sunday. A unique hands-on exhibit that consists of up to 40 moving and replica museum quality dinosaurs, you'll have the chance to actually get close and touch the dinosaurs. Exhibit only includes Dinosaur Exhibit, Dino Dig, Dino Den, Dino Theater, Dino Coloring Station and Scavenger Hunt and Exhibit plus adds unlimited dinosaurs rides, mini golf and inflatables. A Sightseeing Cruise will take place
