The 2016 Summer Camp Music Festival will be held at Three Sisters Park (located at 17201 N State Route 29 in Chillicothe) beginning tonight (Thursday) with a pre-party and running through Sunday evening. With more than 15,000 attendees, the event features more than 100 bands on 7 stages over 3 days. The Peoria
Chiefs will take on Kane County tonight (Thursday) beginning at 7 pm at Dozer Stadium. Encore 2016 featuring
the Morton Civic Chorus continues tonight (Thursday) through Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm at the Hartmann Center Theater on the Bradley University Campus. The Annual Fort Crevecoeur

Mackinaw Valley
Vineyard will host their Annual International Music, Wine and Craft Beer Festival from 11 am - 11 pm on Saturday & from Noon - 6 pm on Sunday. A Peoria State Hospital History
Tour will begin at 6 pm on Saturday at the Pollak Hospital, the former tuberculosis ward of Peoria State Hospital (located at 4500 Enterprise Dr. in Bartonville) beginning at 6 pm. Starting with a historical slideshow presentation, take a tour of the cemeteries (weather permitting), watch historical scenes with costumed actors, take a tour of the Pollak Hospital, visit the Peoria State Hospital Museum (located just down the road at PSH's firehouse) and after a brief intermission,

The 2nd Annual Memorial Day
Springdale Salute 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will be held on Monday at lower Glen Oak Park beginning at 8 am taking runners through Springdale Cemetery. The entry fee is $30 for adults and $15 for kids for the 5k Run/Walk, $20 for adults and $15 for kids for the 1 Mile Walk.
