The Peoria Historical Society brings Peoria history to life with it's various Bus Tours that run throughout the summer including the the River City Tour, Roll Out the Barrel Tour, Abraham Lincoln and The Civil War Tour, Naughty to Nice Tour, Grandview Drive and Springdale Cemetery Tour and the Haunted Peoria Tour (in October only). They all start and end at the Peoria Riverfront Museum's lobby. The Illinois State Fair continues at the Illinois State Fairgrounds today (Thursday) through Sunday from 7 am - midnight each day. Admission is $7 for ages 13 - 59, $3 for children ages 5-12, free for children under 5, and $3 for senior citizens aged 60+. Parking per day is $7. Coupon books with 10 admissions are available for $45 for adults & $20 for children & senior citizens. The Peoria Area World Affairs Council (PAWAC) will present Update Cuba: Illinois Agriculture and Business Leading the Way at the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce office (located at 201 Clock Tower Drive in East Peoria) tonight (Thursday) beginning at 5:30 pm. PAWAC President Don Samford, who accompanied the U.S. Agriculture Coalition for Cuba (USACC) delegation to the island, where he met with government leaders and ministries, will serve as moderator of a panel of USACC and business leaders.
