The Illinois
State Fair continues at the Illinois State Fairgrounds today (Thursday) through Sunday from 7 am - midnight each day. Admission is $7 for ages 13 - 59, $3 for children ages 5-12, free for children under 5, and $3 for senior citizens aged 60+. Parking per day is $7. Coupon books with 10 admissions are available for $45 for adults & $20 for children & senior citizens. The Peoria Area World
Affairs Council (PAWAC) will present Update Cuba: Illinois Agriculture and Business Leading the Way at the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce office (located at 201 Clock Tower Drive in East Peoria) tonight (Thursday) beginning at 5:30 pm. PAWAC President Don Samford, who accompanied the U.S. Agriculture Coalition for Cuba (USACC) delegation to the island, where he met with government leaders and ministries, will serve as moderator of a panel of USACC and business leaders.
