The Central

The Peoria
Chiefs will take on Beloit tonight (Thursday) and Friday beginning at 6 pm at Dozer Stadium. Whisper & Shout
will take place at the Contemporary Art Center tonight (Thursday) beginning at 8 pm. An open mic for sharing and inspiring poetry, admission is $4 for members or $8 for non-members.
Live at the Five Spot at the Contemporary Art Center will feature Cousin Eddie on Friday beginning at 5:30 pm. Admission is $8 for members, $12 for non-members, $7 for student & senior members and $11 for student & senior non-members.

The CIAO First Fridays
Artists' Tour will take place on Friday from 5 - 9 pm at the Contemporary Art Center, Studios on Sheridan and the Prairie Center of the Arts plus other locations throughout Peoria where visitors can view artist demonstrations as well as purchase pieces. For a complete map of the locations, visit 
Celebrate Recovery

The Peoria Blues Heritage Music
Festival will take place at Festival Park and CEFCU Center Stage at The Landing beginning at 6:30 pm on Friday and at 1 pm on Saturday. The Living
with Kidney Disease Seminar will be held at the Peoria Civic Center (located at 201 SW Jefferson Ave., Peoria) on Saturday from 8 am - 1 pm. A Sightseeing
Cruise will take place on the Spirit of Peoria on Saturday & Sunday from 2 - 3:30 pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for senior citizens, $11 for kids 4-15 and free for ages 3 & under and are available at the dock or online at 
Concerts in the Vineyard at Mackinaw
Valley Vineyard (located at 33633 State Rt. 9 in Mackinaw) will feature the Jammsammich on Saturday beginning at 7 pm. Admission is $5 for adults and free for ages 12 & under. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy lawn seating or call to reserve deck seating for $5.
The Mackinaw Valley Vineyard will also host its Annual Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival on Sunday from Noon - 6 pm. Admission is $5 or free for children under 12. Emulate Lucy and get your "feet" wet in the wine, plus enjoy wine tasting, food and live music
from The Shake. Come in dressed and enter the Lucy look-a-like contest at 3:30 pm. There will also be a Scarecrow Building contest hosted by the Tazewell County Resource Center. All supplies needed will be provided for a donation of $10.

Friedrichshafen Germany Youth Orchestra will perform at the Life Together Center (located at 3625 N Sheridan Rd., Peoria) on Sunday beginning at 2 pm. The 55 member youth orchestra will be joined by the Lindenhof Echoes on the alphorns plus the Central Illinois Youth Symphony. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. take place at the Peoria Riverfront Museum Folk Art Gallery on Sunday from Noon - 5 pm.
