The 2016 Pekin
Marigold Festival will be held at Mineral Springs Park in Pekin tonight (Thursday) through Sunday. The Elmwood Fall Festival

The Reach for the Stars
Dinner and Lecture with former NASA astronaut Capt. Scott Douglas "Scooter" Altman will take place at the Peoria Riverfront Museum on Friday beginning at 5:30 pm. Altman, a veteran of four Space Shuttle missions, a Central Illinois native and a University of Illinois alumnus will be on hand will share his experiences as a NASA pilot and commander on the space shuttles Columbia and Atlantis and his spaceflights.
